Welcome To My Blog!

I'd like to first say "hello" to everyone. I must lay down a single rule, and it's commonly known by many as the Golden Rule. Please treat everyone in here as you would want to be treated. I ask that no one "flames" anyone else, or say anything obscene or rude. This is a friendly discussions blog that pertains mostly to computers, music, politics, and religion, but not restricted to just these topics.

If you're looking for some computer help, then I highly recommend by starting with my first part in my series:

Who Can We Trust?

As I called it in a someone else's MySpace blog, the serious mudslinging between our candidates have begun! I've spent almost all day yesterday watching a few different news channels to see their commentary on the matter, and was quite amazed at the difference of the reports I watched. Most of your news channels attempts to have different guests and reporters with different political views on them, but you can tell how a news station stands by how much "air-time" they give to certain reporters versus others. Here's what I gathered:

Fox News: Republican - No surprise here. They claim to be "balanced", yet they give a LOT of airtime to their devout-Republican reporters.
MSNBC: Liberal Democratic - Once again, not much of a suprise here. At least they never advertised being "balanced", and were just blatant.
CNN: Moderate Democratic - This was kind of a shocker. Most of their reporters reported pretty fairly, with only slight tendencies towards Democrats.

The reason I even mentioned this is as more people start tuning-in and watching the political news, this may help give you some sort of idea where different news channels stand on their politics. Anyways, onto the news...

Fox News really covered the verbal attacks Sarah Palin made recently against Barak Obama on his past relationships with radicals, such as Bill Ayers, with even a full special by Sean Hannity called "Obama and Friends: History of Radicalism", but never ONCE mentioned John McCain's involvement of "Keating Five" or Sarah Palin's involvement with the AIP (Alaska Independence Party).

A couple MSNBC reporters downplayed and even joked about Barak Obama's past radical relationships, but really nailed Sarah Palin's involvement with the AIP (Alaska Independence Party), even going as far as calling her the "radical".

CNN covered both the news of Sarah Palin's verbal attacks about Barak Obama's past radical involvements, briefly stating what is definitely known to be true. They also briefly mentioned Barak Obama counterfired back with John McCain's involvement with "Keaten Five", and that both candidates are starting to focus onto each other's character versus the real issues America faces today.

So, here's the stories, starting with Barak Obama first. Most of them are so long, instead of typing out everything other websites are saying, I'll just provide the links instead or brief commentary...

Barack Obama (6-part YouTube videos): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_HZMD97nMw

John McCain: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keating_Five

Sarah Palin: This one's short. Her and her husband's been involved off-and-on with a political party in Alaska who desires to recede from the United States and become their own territory. What makes this so interesting is the remarks the previous founder of the party made along with his mysterious death. He made previous comments such as "The fires of Hell are glaciers compared to my hate for the American Government" and "I won't be buried under their damn flag", in which became his dying wish, his wife didn't allow for him to be buried under the American flag. Also, this has the most recent connection of all of the mudslinging, with Sarah Palin doing a video tape for this group only within the last year.

The only candidate that hasn't been caught in the crossfire seems to be Joe Biden! ...JOE BIDEN FOR PRESIDENT!!! LOL :-) Is it too much to ask for a candidate with an honorable, decent past?!?!?! Are these honorable, decent people too hard to find in our modern-day politics?!?!?! Is this really the best we can get?!?!?! GEEESH!!!
