Welcome To My Blog!

I'd like to first say "hello" to everyone. I must lay down a single rule, and it's commonly known by many as the Golden Rule. Please treat everyone in here as you would want to be treated. I ask that no one "flames" anyone else, or say anything obscene or rude. This is a friendly discussions blog that pertains mostly to computers, music, politics, and religion, but not restricted to just these topics.

If you're looking for some computer help, then I highly recommend by starting with my first part in my series:
Computer Advice Part 1 of 9 - Hardware Terms

I also have a website I'd love for anyone to visit at http://webpages.charter.net/drkstlkr/

If you know someone who might enjoy this blog, then please send them an e-mail!

Daily Dietary Supplements

Daily Dietary Supplements

Do many of you have all-to-common health problems, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, or type 2 diabetes? What if you're like me and have all the above?! It's discouraging, because it seems that if you eat anything that benefits one, it harms the other. Well, besides what your doctor may prescribe you, I've also made a list of dietary supplements that may or may not help if you're still having problems keeping any of your numbers within the normal range. Some of these may actually benefit more than one health problem! I've done a lot of research, and many (not all) of these usually don't interfere with common prescriptions. However, before taking any dietary supplements, I highly recommend doing research first, and perhaps talking about them to your doctor! I like to refer to Wikipedia, but many other websites, such as WebMD and Mayo Clinic, are very accurate and informative. Also, many of these supplements can be found at common department stores, such as Sam's Club, Walmart, and Target. What can't be found at a department store can usually be found at a supplement store, such as The Vitamin Shoppe or GNC (General Nutrition Center):

Miscellaneous (these are supplements I recommend to everyone):
Blood Pressure Supplements
Cholesterol/Triglycerides Supplements
Diabetes Supplements (both Type 1 & Type 2)
